Features a German pendulum operated battery driven movement that has been serviced and is keeping good time. Has a start stop switch to spin start the pendulum.
Uses one C battery, or AA battery (it will not last as long as a C).

E. Schmeckenbecher was a German Clockmaking company from 1948 until 1996.
In the early 1960’s, E Schmeckenbecher took over a small cabinet shop where they began making cases for clocks, in particular cuckoo clocks. Recognizing the demand from American soldiers in WW2, they addressed a market gap by creating cuckoo clocks
Peaking in 1974, E. Schmeckenbecker was responsible for 4 million clocks, with over 200 employees
